Anna says: ...”And the ten horns that you saw and the wild beast, these will hate the prostitute and will make her devastated and naked, and they will eat up her flesh and completely burn her with fire".
...again it is because: "For God put it into their hearts to carry out his thought, yes, to carry out their one thought by giving their kingdom to the wild beast, until the words of God will have been accomplished". Rev 17:16,17
Our publications don't really go into detail of how this will happen, I guess because we don't know.
But it seems to me that it may not be done in a violent way, as Revelation seems to suggest. Any ideas? .....So in what other ways could this transpire?
TTH: I think it is too murky to guess and I am always roll my eyes at those who do. I don’t mean just play with the possibilities, like you’re doing. I mean those who start to take themselves too seriously, to the point of being dogmatic.
It’s enough to see the general picture developing more or less as we expected it to. The globalists increasingly press for world government BY MAN and, as such, some look to the UN as an agency that was long ago founded with that goal in mind.
And this bunch, predominantly irreligious, increasingly views religion as the problem, not the cure. Unfortunately, they do not exempt us, for the most part. In fact, they increasingly turn their anger on those who are “no part of the world,” disdaining them for being “insular” and “authoritarian.”
It is not so much “brainwashing” that they oppose. It is brainwashing that is not theirs. And insisting that believers embrace the world, or at least stop being insular from it, evokes our explanation of 666, a human single digit number repeated thrice—that no one ought to be able to buy or sell (shorthand for conducting the normal business of life) without the mark of the wild beast. (the wild beast being the overall system of human government)
